Ten games, two currencies, one weekly race.
A free mobile arcade with ten original skill games: 3D knight duels, dogfights, a highway run and a tactical shooter, tied together by a two-currency economy, a weekly prestige leaderboard, parties and online multiplayer. I designed and built all of it.
The app
Pick a game, play for skill, climb the board
Every game pays out in credits, the currency you play with, or prestige, the score that ranks you. Each week ends with the Weekly Prestige Race: players are ranked by the prestige they earned that week, and the top of the board wins a prize.
Prestige is only ever earned by playing. It can’t be bought, and buying credits doesn’t improve your chances.

How I built it
One person, the whole stack
I took ApexArcade from concept through a public TestFlight beta to App Store review: the game design and economy, the React Native app with 3D games in three.js, the NestJS API, and the websites on AWS.
- Expo / React Native app with 3D games rendered in three.js
- Online multiplayer, parties, friends and chat
- Prestige multipliers played with prestige only, offered only where they’re allowed
- Safety built in: an age gate, contest rules, report and block
